In addition to the specialised tanker chartering department, Braemar has a separate chartering department dedicated to vegetable oils, oleo chemicals, ethanol and biofuels. These important markets have seen, and will continue to see, steady growth. The vegetable oil department has a world wide client base of leading refiners, traders and shipowners. The business covers voyage charter, time charter, contracts of affreightment and spot business on a global basis. The company is a member of the Federation of Oil Seeds and Fats Association (FOSFA).
